Parking Information – Please do not park in the red zones either on the street or in our own parking lots. We have been informed by Fresno Law Enforcement Agencies, that anyone parked in designated red zones will be ticketed, incurring at least a $40.00 fine. Please note that this is the minimum amount you will be fined, it could cost you much more. We also want you to know, that they will not issue any warnings, they will just leave a ticket for you. We would like to encourage everyone to park on the school campus. You enter using the gate on the south side of the new building. (The entrance is on Maroa). There is ample parking and the gates on the north side of the campus, (by the flagpoles) will be open so you can walk straight to the church. If we all work together, we can provide parking for anyone that may have difficulty walking long distances or families with little children.
Parking Update:
Please DO NOT park in the marked RED ZONES which are reserved for emergency response teams. Recently there was a medical emergency at the church (on a Sunday); but because so many cars were parked ILLEGALLY – red fire zones – the fire truck was UNABLE to make their turns in our parking lot. Instead, they had to BACK UP to complete their response; causing not only frustration, but precious time as well. We have encountered and been notified by emergency personnel of the problems for emergency access every day of the week. If violations continue there will be FINES filed against the church – which will be VERY COSTLY! Continued parking in the red zones will result in cars being towed at the owners expense.
HOWEVER, WE DO HAVE A SOLUTION! We have ample parking at the school. The gates are located on Maroa and will be open (south of the community center). The walk is very safe and quick – just walk thru campus, then thru our parking lot. Let’s practice Christian charity and please park on the school grounds, leaving the church parking lot for those who may have physical limitations. And remember, the next medical emergency might involve you or someone you love!
