Children’s Religious Education & Sacrament Preparation for First Reconciliation,
First Communion & Sacraments of Initiation
CLASSES HAVE STARTED
SUNDAYS: 3:00pm to 4:15pm
ABOUT OUR FORMATION PROGRAM
FIRST YEAR OF FORMATION:
Introduction to Religious Education where students will gather once a week on Sundays to learn more about their faith, God, Jesus, and the Church. Students will review the traditional Catholic prayers such as the Our Father, Hail Mary, etc… which the family should be praying together at home already.
SECOND YEAR OF FORMATION:
(2nd – 6th grades)
Within this year, children will continue with Sunday Classes and will focus on the Church’s teachings, specifically on the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion.
*During the 2nd Year of Formation the child (student) and parent(s) are also required to participate in 6 additional formation classes and 2 retreats preparing them to receive the Sacraments.
These sessions are held once a month on Thursdays from 6:30pm to 7:45pm, which is an additional/separate calendar to follow.
