Sacrament Preparation for First Reconciliation, First Communion &
Sacraments of Initiation for Children’s K through 6th grades
English or Spanish Classes
Kindergarten through 6th Grades
– 1st and 2nd year preparation –
CLASSES ARE NOW IN SESSION
CLASSES ARE HELD: SUNDAYS @ 3:00 pm to 4:15 pm
(Please note that there is an additional $30 book fee in the 2nd year of Sacrament Preparation)
On-going Faith Formation / 1st Communion Completed $50.00 for each child.
ABOUT OUR FORMATION PROGRAM
FIRST YEAR OF FORMATION:
Introduction to Religious Education, where students will gather once a week on Sundays to learn more about their faith, God, Jesus, and the Church.
Students will review the traditional Catholic prayer,s such as the Our Father, Hail Mary, etc, which the family should be praying together at home already.
SECOND YEAR OF FORMATION:
(2nd – 6th grades)
During his year, children will continue with Sunday classes, focusing on the Church’s teachings, specifically the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion.
*During the 2nd Year of Formation, the child (student) and parent(s) are also required to participate in 6 additional formation classes and 2 retreats, preparing them to receive the Sacraments.
These sessions are held once a month on Thursdays from 6:30pm to 7:45pm, which is an additional/separate calendar to follow.
